Same Same But Different

A while back I posted an outfit with a vintage dress that is identical to the this one but it was in red! I mentioned it had a twin and today I thought I wouldn't let it be neglected any longer. It is of course one of my favourite colours navy!! I saw this cardigan at Kmart the other day and had to have it. Technically I used my flybuys dollars so I got it for free! (flybuys is a reward system for certain stores in Australia you scan when you purchase things) Even when I buy new I never buy full price, I love a bargain! This is the first time I'm using an actual tripod instead of a ladder or a pot plant haha. A friend is lending it to me while he isn't using it so again it's a bargain! It decided to pour in the middle of my photo shoot so I only managed to get a couple of shots, of course when I packed up and came inside it stopped raining 2 minutes later...

Not sure what's going on with this face but Charlie wouldn't pose any longer!

Charlie Bear gets a feature today! He decided he hates the rain too, you can see him looking longingly at the door to get inside. Well I hope you are having a fabulous day wherever you are I'm off to catch up on some blog reading.

Grungy Cowgirl!

I have to say it did feel a little weird being dressed up and taking photos in my back yard again after such a long break! This frock I have owned for quite a while, I'm guessing 80's, it's  a fashion for today frock! I was trying to look to see if I had any new old frocks but to be honest I can count on my hand how many times I have been op shopping and treasure hunting since I last blogged! I went to Hong Kong for my birthday last year so I had to save my pennies! I've also just bought a car in the last week!!! So I haven't had a lot of spare cash or time to hunt for vintage goodies.

It is Anzac day today and what would it be without freshly made Anzac biscuits!

Howdy! I've been a terrible blogger

Hello lovely ladies! I know it has been an awfully long time, I just fell so behind with other blogs and I didn't feel it was fair to keep posting and get your wonderful comments without leaving any on your awesome blogs. Once I got out of the routine I got lazy and then I went on holiday and came back not knowing what I wanted to do with this blog. I missed you awesome crazy fun people who really got me and understood vintage passion! I will hopefully be back with a regular posting schedule soon. My photographer returns from holidays in Vietnam and Cambodia in a week! Until then I shall be catching up on some blogs! I hope you stick around with me. xxx

Ps. I adopted a 6 year old cat named Charlie a couple of months ago, he is one crazy cat who likes to hang out in weird places. (sorry for the terrible IPhone pics normal quality will resume shortly.)

Hey everybody! I accidentally disappeared for a month instead of the two weeks  I was expecting. I hope to get back into the swing of things soon. It looks like I have a lot to catch up on!!!

Shades Of Pink

It wasn't until after I thought of the title that I realised people might associate it with the latest book craze. Something I will not be reading! I've already got 6 more books to read with my book depository order arriving everyday this week. I actually took these photos on Saturday but have been to lazy to do a post. I went go karting for the first time on Sunday night.... NEVER AGAIN! It is definitely not my thing. On to the frock, it's pink of course so I decided to go all out and wear everything else pink too.

I don't know how much blogging I will get done in the next two weeks, I have to find myself a replacement photographer. Otherwise I will have to pull out my trusty ladder/tripod.

1st Bloggy Birthday!

Ok so I don't know why I have been so slack with blogging this winter but I couldn't let this milestone pass. It's been exactly one year to the day since I started blogging!! It's been a ton of fun, I've met some fabulous people in real life and online. You lovely ladies have inspired me to wear what I want and to make changes in my life. Hopefully by the end of the year I will be working in a school fulltime and the nightmare that has been my job for almost 7 long years will be over! It's been a whole year but I still act like a nervous school girl when telling people about my blog, I wonder if that will ever change? I picked up this gorgeous frock on the same adventure as the crimplene beauty. This frock had twins in different sizes and one in pastel colours. It must of been dead stock from an old shop. I couldn't resist matching my tights to the fruit I don't care if it's winter I want to wear colour!

We got up early for some treasure hunting but I only came home with these three goodies. For $9 total it wasn't a bad morning and my bank account is happy!

I have a ton of blog reading to get through so I will get to you all very soon! I've just completed the first cluster of units in my course *yay* only four more clusters to go. So if I'm not around much it's because I'm studying or working. I also lose my photographer next weekend, the parentals are off to Vietnam for two weeks. Lucky them!!
